(Baonghean.vn) - On June 27, the Department of Education and Training of Anh Son district organized the opening ceremony of a free English teaching program for students with difficult circumstances and poor academic performance during the summer.
This time, the Department of Education and Training of Anh Son district organized the opening of free English classes at 3 schools: Thi Tran Primary School, Dinh Son Secondary School and Linh Son Secondary School. There were 11 classes with nearly 385 students participating.

Right after the opening ceremony, the district Department of Education and Training organized the first class for students, mainly helping them practice listening, speaking and pronunciation skills. This is a very meaningful program to consolidate knowledge for students with weak English ability in the 2014-2015 school year, improving the quality of English learning in schools.

It is known that in the coming time, the district Department of Education and Training will continue to open classes at Khai Son Secondary School, Tao Son Secondary School, Tuong Son Secondary School and Thanh Son Secondary School.
The total number of classes in the summer of 2015 is 22 with nearly 800 students. The total budget for this program is 165 million VND supported by the district.
