Not yet launched, small SUV Hyundai Creta has "caused a fever"

Although not officially launched, there have been up to 10,000 customers confirmed to buy the Hyundai Creta model in India.

As planned, Hyundai Creta will “greet” the Indian market on July 21. To prepare for this event, the Korean car company has trained more than 4,000 sales staff and 7,000 technicians across 700 dealerships in India.

Hyundai India aims to sell around 5,000 to 6,000 Creta units in the domestic market every month.

Ahead of its launch, Creta information has been leaked. Specifically, the car will have 2 diesel engine versions and one petrol engine. All come with a standard 6-speed manual transmission and the option of a segment-first 6-speed automatic transmission on the 1.6L diesel version.

Based on the ix25 model exclusively for the Chinese market, the Creta has dimensions of 4,270mm long, 1,780mm wide and 1,630mm high with a wheelbase of 2,590mm. The car has 7 exterior colors.

Safety features on this compact SUV include dual front airbags, side airbags and curtain airbags along with ABS brakes, electronic brake force distribution EBD, vehicle stability control, hill descent control and advanced HIVE body structure made from high-strength materials.
