Even before its official launch, the Hyundai Creta compact SUV is already creating a sensation.

Although not yet officially launched, 10,000 customers in India have already confirmed their intention to purchase the Hyundai Creta.

According to plan, the Hyundai Creta will be launched in the Indian market on July 21st. To prepare for this event, the South Korean automaker has trained over 4,000 sales staff and 7,000 technicians across 700 dealerships in India.

Hyundai India aims to sell around 5,000 to 6,000 Creta vehicles in the domestic market each month.

Prior to its official launch, information about the Creta was leaked. Specifically, the car will have two diesel engine options and one petrol engine option. All come with a standard 6-speed manual transmission, with the first 6-speed automatic transmission in the segment available as an option on the 1.6L diesel version.

Based on the ix25 model exclusive to the Chinese market, the Creta measures 4,270mm in length, 1,780mm in width, and 1,630mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,590mm. It comes in seven exterior colors.

Safety features on this compact SUV include dual front airbags, side airbags and curtain airbags, along with ABS brakes, electronic brake force distribution (EBD), vehicle stability control, hill descent assist, and an advanced HIVE body structure made from high-strength materials.
