From the air, Saigon is beautiful, modern, and romantic with lots of green surrounding it, a winding river, and a city like a chessboard.

On June 16, the Understanding the Heart Fund in collaboration with photographer Gian Thanh Son organized an exhibition of 40 works with the theme "Aerial photos of Saigon". The program aims to raise funds to support poor students in remote areas, lasting until June 21 at 143 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia. In the photo: the work "Thao Cam Vien" (2010).

Gian Thanh Son has 40 years of experience in journalism and nearly 20 years of pursuing photography. He was able to take photos from the air thanks to the special support of the 370th Air Division and the 917th Helicopter Regiment. The 40 works in this exhibition were extracted from his photography project with the theme "Vietnam from the air".
"In the same place, but each time I fly, each time I press the shutter, I am moved differently. My Saigon, yours, all of us, so much love and affection, so many beautiful changes...", Gian Thanh Son shared. This photographer has set three national records with unique photo collections. He has worked in more than 85 countries, organized many exhibitions with his own mark such as: "Portrait of a politician", "Climate change in Vietnam and the world seen from the air", "Imprints of integration", "Aerial photos of islands and coasts of Vietnam"...
