Fishing boat catches fire at Lach Quen wharf.

(Baonghean.vn) - At approximately 3 PM on July 30th, a fishing boat caught fire at Lach Quen wharf in Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district.

The boat tilted to the right as water was pumped in to extinguish the fire.

Initial information indicates that the owner of the ill-fated boat is Mr. Ho Van Suu, a resident of Hamlet 3, Tien Thuy Commune, Quynh Luu District. The cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit, which ignited the front compartment of the boat. Upon discovering the fire, the fishermen on board immediately attempted to extinguish it temporarily. At approximately 4:20 PM, firefighters arrived at the scene, and the fire was largely extinguished after 10 minutes. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
