Fishing boat fire at Lach Quen wharf

(Baonghean.vn)- At around 3:00 p.m. on July 30, at Lach Quen wharf, Tien Thuy commune, Quynh Luu district, a fishing boat fire broke out.

The boat listed to starboard as water was pumped in to put out the fire.

Initial information is known: the owner of the boat that was in trouble is Mr. Ho Van Suu, a citizen of Hamlet 3, Tien Thuy Commune, Quynh Luu District. The cause of the fire was an electrical short circuit that caused the front compartment of the boat to catch fire. After discovering it, the fishermen on the boat immediately put out the fire temporarily. At around 4:20 pm, the fire department arrived at the scene and the fire was basically extinguished after 10 minutes. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Currently, the authorities are investigating to clarify the incident./.
