(Baonghean) - After a period of suspension due to funding difficulties, construction has resumed on the embankment project to prevent erosion along the Nam Mo River, from Tam Bridge to Cung Bridge in Block 4, Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, with a length of 1,963m.
The Nam Mo River embankment project, with a total investment of 140 billion VND from government bonds, commenced in 2013. To date, 921 meters out of the total 1,963 meters of the project have been completed. This is a key project for Ky Son district; upon completion, it will address the long-standing problem of riverbank erosion, contributing to minimizing damage to people and property during the rainy season and floods.
