Martyr Phan Dinh Tang was a sailor of the Sea Transport Company, from village 12, Co Dam commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh; he sacrificed on June 19, 1967, in case of receiving an order to carry out an emergency cargo mission from Hai Phong to Nghi Xuan, when comrade Phan Dinh Tang's boat carrying cargo arrived at the sea area of ​​Tan Hai hamlet, Quynh Bang commune, it was shot by an American plane.
