Banks continue to adjust foreign currency prices up by 5-20 VND/USD compared to the trading session last weekend.

This morning (August 24), banks continued to adjust prices up by 5-20 VND/USD compared to the trading session at the end of last week. Currently, the highest buying and selling prices are at 21,460/21,545 VND/USD.

At Vietcombank this morning, the USD buying and selling price reached 22,460/22,540 VND, an increase of 20 VND compared to the trading session last Friday. Meanwhile, Vietinbank is buying and selling USD at 22,460/22,545 VND, an increase of 15 VND in the selling price compared to the end of last week.

Similarly, the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) also increased by 20 VND this morning in both buying and selling directions. The listed USD price at this bank is at 22,470/22,540 VND/USD.

For joint stock commercial banks such as Eximbank, the USD buying price increased slightly by 15 VND/USD to 22,450 VND/USD, but the selling price remained unchanged at 22,545 VND/USD. Sacombank also increased the buying price by 30 VND and the selling price by 10 VND compared to the end of last week when listing the USD exchange rate at 22,440/22,540 VND/USD. Techcombank increased the buying price by 20 VND to 22,420 VND/USD, and slightly increased the selling price by 2 VND to 22,547 VND/USD.

Notably, Agribank increased the buying price by 100 VND and the selling price by 120 VND. Currently, the buying and selling price of USD at Agribank is 22,410/22,540 VND/USD.

It can be seen that this morning, the lowest buying price at banks is 22,410 VND/USD, the highest buying price is 22,470 VND/USD. Meanwhile, the lowest selling price is 22,540 VND/USD and the highest selling price is 22,547 VND/USD.

In the free market, the USD price early this morning remained high, buying and selling at 22,600 - 22,700 VND/USD. Meanwhile, the average exchange rate on the interbank foreign exchange market of USD/VND continued to be applied by the State Bank of Vietnam for August 24 at 21,890 VND/USD./.
