A British schoolgirl achieved an IQ of 162, higher than even famous geniuses Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.

According to CNN, Lydia Sebastian, an eighth-grade student at Colchester County School in Essex, took the intelligence test during the summer holidays after suggesting the idea to her parents and convincing them.

The Cattell III B test consisted of 150 questions primarily measuring participants' reasoning abilities. Lydia ultimately set a record with a perfect score of 162, surpassing even the scores of the two brilliant physicists Einstein and Hawking, both of whom scored 160.

"I was really nervous before the test and thought it would be very difficult. But after I started working on it, I found it easier than I thought," the girl said. "I don't think I can compare myself to great intellectuals like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. They have achieved so much."

Lydia's parents are of Indian descent. Her father is a doctor, and her mother is a deputy director of a bank. She started reading at a young age and began playing the violin at the age of four. Lydia enjoys studying mathematics and physics.

The girl's parents said they were surprised by their daughter's results because they both have quite liberal views on education and don't have any special parenting methods.

Lydia hasn't decided what she wants to do after graduation. "All I'll do is work as hard as I can and see where I can get a job," she said.

With this achievement, Lydia has entered the ranks of the world's highest IQs and is eligible to join Mesa, a club for people with IQs of 148 or higher.
