12-year-old girl has higher IQ than Einstein
A British female student achieved an IQ of 162, higher than famous geniuses Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.
According to CNN, Lydia Sebastian, an 8th grade student at Colchester County School, Essex, took the IQ test during the summer vacation after presenting the idea to her parents and convincing them.
The Cattell III B test consists of 150 questions that mainly measure the reasoning ability of the participants. Lydia finally set a record by achieving the maximum score of 162, higher than the index of two famous physicists Einstein and Hawking, which is 160.

"I was really nervous before the test and thought it would be difficult. But after I started doing it, I found it was easier than I thought," she said. "I don't think I can compare to great intellectuals like Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking. They have achieved so much."
Lydia’s parents are of Indian descent. Her father is a doctor and her mother is a bank vice president. She started reading at a young age and playing the violin at the age of four. Lydia enjoys studying math and physics.
The girl's parents said they were surprised by their daughter's results because they both have quite open views on education and do not have any special ways of raising their children.
Lydia hasn't decided what she wants to do after school. "All I'm going to do is work as hard as I can and see where I land," she said.
With this achievement, Lydia has entered the top of people with the highest IQ in the world and qualified to join Mesa, the club of people with IQs of 148 or higher.
