Do Luong District People's Council: Electing personnel within its authority

((Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 14, 2015, the District People's Council held the 14th session of the 18th District People's Council, term 2011-2016. Attending the session were comrade Tran Van Mao - Standing member of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, and comrades in the District Party Committee's Standing Committee.

At the meeting, the District People's Council approved the proposal of the District People's Committee to approve the socio-economic development plan for the period 2016-2020. The general goal is to build Do Luong into a district with a fairly fast socio-economic development speed of the province, the center of the Western Nghe An region; with synchronous infrastructure, properly implementing the roadmap for building new rural areas. Strive to meet the conditions to establish Do Luong Town by 2020.

Also at the meeting, the People's Council of Do Luong district dismissed the positions of Vice Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee and member of the People's Committee, and at the same time voted to elect additional positions of Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee and a number of committee members.
