Do Luong District People's Council: Electing personnel within its authority.

((Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 14, 2015, the District People's Council held its 14th session, 18th term, 2011-2016. Attending the session were Comrade Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, and members of the District Party Committee's Standing Committee.

The Presidium presides over the session.

At the meeting, the District People's Council approved the proposal from the District People's Committee requesting approval of the socio-economic development plan for the period 2016-2020. The overall goal is to develop Do Luong into a district with a relatively high rate of socio-economic development in the province, a regional center in Western Nghe An; with a synchronized infrastructure, and adhering to the roadmap for building new rural areas. The aim is to meet the conditions for establishing Do Luong as a town by 2020.

Comrade Truong Hong Phuc, Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Council, opened the session.

Also at the session, the Do Luong District People's Council dismissed the positions of Vice Chairman of the People's Council, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, and members of the People's Committee, and simultaneously held a vote to elect additional Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, and several committee members.

As a result, Comrade Hoang Huu Hung was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Council, Comrade Nguyen Thi Lan was elected to the position of Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, and Comrade Nguyen Khac Thong - Head of the District Police - was elected to the position of Member of the District People's Committee.
