(Baonghean.vn) - Warning of thunderstorms in some mountainous areas of Nghe An province.

According to the North Central Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Station at 3:20 PM, satellite cloud imagery and the Vinh weather radar show that convective clouds are developing over the North Central region. The maximum PHVT intensity (Zmax) is 39 dBz. The clouds are moving southeast at a speed of 5-10 km/h.

Warning: In the coming hours, the following districts will experience showers and thunderstorms: Quy Chau, Que Phong, Ky Son, Tuong Duong, and Nghia Dan (Nghe An province); Quan Son, Quan Hoa, Thuong Xuan, and Nhu Thanh (Thanh Hoa province); and Huong Son and Vu Quang (Ha Tinh province). During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
