(Baonghean.vn) - Warning of thunderstorms in some mountainous areas of Nghe An province.

According to the North Central Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Station at 3:20 PM, satellite cloud imagery and the Vinh weather radar show that convective clouds are developing over the North Central region. The maximum PHVT intensity (Zmax) is 39 dBz. The clouds are moving southeast at a speed of 5-10 km/h.

Warning: Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the following hours in the districts of Quỳ Châu, Quế Phong, Kỳ Sơn, Tương Dương, and Nghĩa Đàn (Nghệ An province); Quan Sơn, Quan Hóa, Thường Xuân, and Như Thanh (Thanh Hóa province); and Hương Sơn and Vũ Quang (Hà Tĩnh province). During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
