(Baonghean.vn) - On the day of sending off 1,350 young men from Nghe An province to join the army to defend the Fatherland, the new recruits were seen off by their families, relatives and friends. Everyone was moved, looking forward to the day they complete their mission and return home.

On August 9, Nghe An province held the second military enlistment ceremony in 9 localities including Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky, Nghia Dan, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Anh Son, Hoang Mai town and Thai Hoa town. |

Thanks to good organization, on September 8, the military transfer at all locations in the province was completed. The receiving units checked the documents one last time before departure, and brought the new soldiers back to their units. |

This year, the quality of new recruits has been improved. All young men joining the army meet the political, moral and health standards as prescribed. Among them, there are 113 ethnic minority recruits and 59 religious youths. Before the military enlistment day, at 9 military enlistment points in the province, visits and gifts were given to families of young men in difficult circumstances; festivals and cultural exchanges were held to encourage and cheer young men to confidently set out to defend the Fatherland. |
