To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of writer Nam Cao (1915 - 1951), Kim Dong Publishing House has just released a new edition of the novel "Sống Đôn" and the short story collection "Đổi mắt" - a collection of the writer's works after 1945.

As a typical work in Nam Cao's writing career, the novel "Living in Misery" deals with a painful problem of intellectuals in the old era, artists with many aspirations and ideals but whose lives gradually fade away due to worries about food and clothing.

“Doi Mat” is a collection of Nam Cao’s outstanding short stories and essays after the August Revolution, clearly expressing the viewpoint of “living first, then writing”. The two publications “Song Mor” and “Doi Mat” printed by Kim Dong Publishing House this time are reprinted from the 1977 edition of the Literature Publishing House. The covers are designed by artists Phan Thi Ngoc Linh and Nguyen Kim Diep.
