(Baonghean.vn) - On the night of September 26th (August 14th in the lunar calendar), for the first time, children in the Dan Lai resettlement area in Thach Ngan commune, Con Cuong district, enjoyed a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration with the theme "Loving Moon," organized by journalists from the Nghe An Joint Journalists Club and philanthropists.

Thach Ngan commune, Con Cuong district, is home to four ethnic groups: Thai, Dan Lai, Hoa, and Kinh. Among them, Thach Son village is a resettlement area for the Dan Lai ethnic group, who moved from Mon Son commune, comprising 50 households and 320 people. The rugged terrain and difficult living conditions mean that the children in Thach Son have never experienced the Mid-Autumn Festival, carrying star-shaped lanterns, or enjoying festive feasts.
