(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 3rd, the People's Court of Nghia Dan district held a mobile court session to publicly try the case of Vo Van Quang, residing in Thuong Khanh hamlet, Nghia Khanh commune, Nghia Dan district, for the crime of intentionally causing injury.

According to the indictment, due to a pre-existing conflict, on the evening of July 8, 2011, while returning from an outing to the foot of Con Nai hill in Nghia Khanh commune, Nghia Dan district, Nguyen Khanh Ly, Vo Van Quang, Vo Van Sam, Vo Van Tai, Tran Van Tai, and Nguyen Dinh Hoan encountered Du Van Thuan and Nguyen Ngoc Hoang walking in the opposite direction.

Tran Van Tai handed a knife to Nguyen Khanh Ly, while Vo Van Quang snatched the stick from Thuan's hand. Nguyen Dinh Hoang demanded that Thuan and Hoang kneel and apologize, otherwise they would be beaten. Thuan and Hoang refused to kneel, so Nguyen Khanh Ly slashed them with the knife, Vo Van Quang used the stick, Vo Van Tai used an iron pipe, and Vo Van Sam used a beer bottle to hit Thuan and Hoang.

As a result, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoang suffered injuries, including damage to his left eye, resulting in a 48% disability rating. After committing the crime, Vo Van Quang and Tran Van Tai fled the area. On August 28, 2015, Quang was arrested under a warrant.
