(Baonghean.vn) - Pieng Pen village (My Ly - Ky Son) has 73 households with 343 people of Thai ethnic group. More than 2 hours by motorbike or boat from the commune center, Pieng Pen village is located precariously on the majestic Truong Son mountain range. From here to the other side of the border, it only takes 30 minutes on foot.
The current life of Pieng Pen villagers has changed significantly, 100% of families have solid houses, the number of poor households in the village is only about 50%. Notably, here, people still preserve very unique traditional cultural features.
