Mito Hollyhock confirms signing of Cong Phuong.

Information regarding a contract with the star who graduated from the HAGL Arsenal JMG Academy has appeared on the Japanese team's homepage.

Cong Phuong visited Mito Hollyhock in November. Afterwards, he returned to Vietnam to play for HAGL U21 and won the international U21 tournament.

Almost all contract terms between HAGL and Mito Hollyhock were finalized. However, at the time Cong Phuong moved to Japan, both sides left one clause open: "reconsider the contract if Mito Hollyhock is relegated." After the J-League 2 season ended, the team successfully avoided relegation.

In an announcement on their homepage, Mito Hollyhock confirmed that Cong Phuong will be available from January 2016. The contract will be signed on December 23rd.

Mito Hollyhock also publicly shared personal information and details about Cong Phuong's education and development, from the HAGL Arsenal JMG academy to his time playing for the Vietnam U19, U23, and national teams.

The transfer fee for Cong Phuong has not been officially disclosed, but according to a source close to VnExpress, the Japanese team paid HAGL $100,000 for the services of this striker. Cong Phuong's salary is approximately $3,000 per month.
