Dong Hieu Commune (Thai Hoa Town) received the Certificate of recognition for meeting New Rural standards.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 6, the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Hieu commune(Thai Hoa town),solemnly held the ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the commune's establishment and receive the Certificate of recognition of meeting the New Rural Standards (NTM) in 2015 awarded by the Provincial People's Committee.

Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Dinh Viet Hong and Hoang Viet Duong - Deputy Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for New Rural Development of Nghe An province. Also attending were representatives of the Provincial New Rural Development Coordination Office, leaders of Thai Hoa town and people from all walks of life in Dong Hieu commune.

Art performance to celebrate the 54th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Dong Hieu.

Officially entering the construction of the New Rural Area in 2011, with a starting point of only 6 criteria, after more than 4 years of implementation, Dong Hieu commune mobilized all classes of people, effectively integrating investment resources to complete 19/19 criteria.

The total investment cost for building new rural areas is over 243.55 billion VND, of which the budget at all levels supports and other resources is over 80 billion VND, accounting for 32.4%; the people contribute and invest 164.6 billion VND, accounting for 67.6% (of which 2,135 m²land and contributed 15,125 working days).

At the ceremony, the People's Committee of Dong Hieu commune evaluated the results of 4 years of building the new rural area, the reasons for success and lessons learned. In addition to completing the general criteria according to regulations, one of Dong Hieu's strengths is to mobilize people to develop the economy, improve living standards, and excellently complete the criteria for building traffic infrastructure and cultural institutions...

Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the commune's establishment and receiving the title of achieving the New Rural Standard on the occasion of the 54th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Dong Hieu (December 10, 1961 - December 10, 2015) is an important event for the Party Committee and people of the commune to continue promoting achievements, striving to implement Uncle Ho's teachings, and building an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland.
