Vinh City honors 46 exemplary front work committee leaders

(Baonghean.vn) - 46 heads of front work committees were honored at a meeting to honor outstanding front work committee heads from 2010 to 2015, which took place on the afternoon of November 9.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Vinh City People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh City and many heads of front work committees in Vinh City.

Over the years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh City has always fulfilled its functions and tasks well in gathering and uniting people of all walks of life, propagating and mobilizing people to participate in patriotic emulation movements. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the city.

Ms. Lo Thi Kim Ngan - Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province affirmed that the team of heads of the front work committee is a strong arm, contributing significantly to the overall success of the front work in Vinh city in particular and Nghe An province in general.

The 46 front work committee leaders honored at this meeting are exemplary among the 376 front work committee leaders in Vinh city. With prestige, dedication and responsibility, they have strived to complete their tasks well, being the core of solidarity and spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual support in the community.

The meeting and commendation of outstanding front work leaders in the period 2010 - 2015 is a meaningful activity towards the 85th anniversary of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2015) and the Great National Unity Day in residential areas.
