Vinh City honors 46 exemplary front work committee leaders

(Baonghean.vn) - 46 heads of front work committees were honored at a meeting to honor outstanding front work committee heads from 2010 - 2015, which took place on the afternoon of November 9.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the leadership of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, Vinh City People's Committee, Vinh City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and many heads of front work committees in Vinh City.

Over the years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh City has always fulfilled its functions and tasks well in gathering and uniting people of all walks of life, propagating and mobilizing people to participate in patriotic emulation movements. The movements have aroused creativity, promoted internal strength, and strengthened solidarity from each family and each community. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of socio-economic development goals and tasks, ensuring national defense and security in the city.

Ms. Lo Thi Kim Ngan - Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province affirmed that the team of heads of the front work committee is a strong arm, contributing significantly to the overall success of the front work in Vinh city in particular and Nghe An province in general.

Contributing to that common success are the efforts of the team of front work leaders. The 46 front work leaders honored at this meeting are the typical ones among 376 front work leaders in Vinh city. With prestige, dedication and responsibility, they have strived to complete their tasks well, being the core of solidarity and spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual support in the community.

The meeting and commendation of exemplary front work leaders in the period 2010 - 2015 is a meaningful activity towards the 85th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2015) and the Great National Unity Day in residential areas.
