(Baonghean.vn) - On November 15th, Thai Lao High School (Hung Nguyen) held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary (1975 – 2015), receiving a Certificate of Commendation from the Prime Minister and a Certificate of National Standard Recognition.
Representatives from the Department of Education and Training, leaders of Hung Nguyen district, along with numerous generations of teachers and students, shared in the joy of this event.

Thai Lao High School was established in 1975 under the name Hung Nguyen Vocational School. In 1977, the school enrolled its first cohort of students in the general education system. After several relocations, in 1982, the school moved to Hung Thai commune, now Block 14, Hung Nguyen town, and changed its name to Thai Lao High School, named after the heroic historical place of Thai Lao.

Over 40 years of development and growth, Thai Lao High School has continuously progressed. Since its establishment, the school has educated more than 12,000 high school students and gifted junior high school students. From this school, many students have grown up and contributed to building their homeland.

With its achievements, Thai Lao High School is honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; a banner from the Provincial People's Committee bearing the inscription "Thai Lao High School upholds the glorious tradition of unity, creativity, and emulation in teaching and learning well"; a Flag of Emulation from the Provincial People's Committee; a Certificate of National Standard Recognition; and 11 teachers from the school received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding contributions to the education sector in the past.
