The Hanoi Young Catholic Choir with 27 members was the last performance of episode 1 but won the golden button from judge Thanh Lam. Talented groups shine in the stage qualifying round

Right in the first episode, the talented groups affirmed their abilities when they conquered the judges one by one to win a ticket to the next round of Judges Cull. Contestant Nguyen Van Anh appeared in a belly dance costume and veil, capturing the judges' eyes with her smooth, graceful and sexy belly dance moves. Judge Chi Trung commented: "Not only belly dance but also combined with swords, that is the unique feature of this performance. I liked it even more when she took off her veil, a woman in her 40s but the body of a 19 year old girl". Sometimes, surprise is an attractive element of the Talent Search stage and Nguyen Van Anh did it.

Pham Binh Minh (15 years old) is one of the young contestants who made a strong impression in the qualifying round of the Northern stage. Starting by inviting the two judges Huy Tuan - Chi Trung onto the stage, Binh Minh used qigong to "suck" the bowl into his stomach and made judge Chi Trung "struggle" to pull it out "hopelessly".
