(Baonghean.vn) - As usual, the World Press Photo contest was once again held and awarded to 41 photojournalists from 21 countries for 7 categories on February 18. Notably, in this award ceremony, 7 photojournalists won high prizes for taking photos related to the situation in Syria - a topic that rarely leaves an impression in a prestigious contest like World Press Photo. Surpassing nearly 83,000 photos by 5,775 photojournalists from 128 countries, the photo depicting a man trying to get his child through a barbed wire fence on the border between Hungary and Syria, taken on August 28, 2015, became the "Photo of the Year". According to the photojournalist Werren Richarson, he camped with a group of about 200 refugees for 5 days.
