Removing stadium banner, man falls to the ground and dies

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 1, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ly (64 years old), residing in Block 3, Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district, climbed onto the roof of the grandstand at the district stadium to remove the banner and unfortunately fell to the ground and died.

A section of the roof broke off, causing the victim to fall to his death.

According to witnesses, at that time, Mr. Ly climbed onto the roof of the stadium's stands to remove the banner. While he was sitting on the roof, the metal roof where Mr. Ly was sitting came loose from the screws, causing Mr. Ly to suddenly fall onto the stands.

Discovering the incident, many people around quickly took him to the emergency room, however, due to severe head injuries, the victim died on the way to the hospital.

It is known that Mr. Ly is a security guard for the Quynh Luu District Cultural - Sports Center.
