Russian military aircraft flew over the destroyer Donald Cook at an altitude of less than 30 meters, Reuters reported, citing a US military source.

The European Command of the US Armed Forces published a video on YouTube about the flights of Su-24 and Ka-27 on the destroyer.

Earlier, the US European Command (EUCOM) said that within two days, Russian aircraft flew near the destroyer Donald Cook while it was conducting exercises in the Baltic Sea in international waters. According to EUCOM data, the first incident occurred on Monday at 15:00 local time, when the Su-24 flew near the destroyer at low altitude.

The next day, Ka-27 helicopters and two Su-24s also flew near the destroyer several times. On Monday, the Russian aircraft made 20 passes over the destroyer's deck at an altitude of less than 100 feet (30 meters) and at a distance of less than 1,000 yards (900 meters) from the ship, according to Reuters.

Sources told Reuters that the Russian planes flew even lower on Monday. The White House expressed concern about these reports. Russia has yet to comment, according to Sputnik.
