Appearing on the Nghe An market for about 2 years now, UV protection shirts are currently a hot selling product in stores specializing in Japanese goods. The shirts have a compact design, thin fabric, many colors, good elasticity and sweat absorption, especially with materials that protect against the sun's UV rays.

At a Japanese store on Nguyen Van Cu Street, in just one hour, the number of customers coming to buy UV protection shirts was about 10 people. Most of the customers buying shirts were women. Although the price of the shirts was quite high, double or even triple the price of ordinary sun protection shirts, many women were still willing to buy them.

According to some experts, ultraviolet rays (UV rays) in sunlight can damage skin cells, causing skin to age quickly and increasing the risk of skin cancer. When the temperature is high, especially between 10am and 3pm, UV rays can penetrate ordinary fabrics, so even though people wear long-sleeved shirts or sun hats, they cannot protect their skin from the harmful effects of sunlight.

Faced with the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays, many fashion brands have produced products with anti-UV ingredients. Among them, sun-protective clothing with superior technology including anti-sunlight fibers, anti-UV polyrettrame fibers that can resist ultraviolet rays, protecting the user's skin is sought after by many women.

Currently, in Nghe An market, there are many stores specializing in importing anti-UV clothing from Japanese brands Uniqlo and Adidad. Adidad anti-UV clothing is quite expensive, over 1,500,000 VND/piece. Uniqlo clothing is more affordable, ranging from 460,000 - 650,000 VND/piece. The clothing is designed simply, with many colors, solid color or plaid, printed with motifs, patterns... suitable for each age and preference of consumers.

Some shop owners in Vinh City said: This year, although it is just the beginning of summer, the heat is intense, so the number of people coming to the store to buy UV protection clothing has increased 3 times compared to last year. That is also why there are currently many types of sun protection clothing that imitate the design and model of UV protection clothing.
