Heartbreaking tragedy: Mother murders her two young children then commits suicide.

Driven by conflict with her husband, the young wife mixed insecticide and then took her two young children to their deaths at their home.

On the morning of April 20th, in a brief exchange with a reporter from Gia Dinh va Xa Hoi newspaper, Mr. Tran Van Hien, Chairman of Kim Anh commune, Kim Thanh district, Hai Duong province, stated that the incident of a mother murdering her two young children and then committing suicide occurred in Le Do village, Kim Anh commune, on the evening of April 19th.

According to initial information, stemming from a conflict with her husband, the young wife bought insecticide and mixed it with water to drink. At the time, her two young children (ages 4 and 6) were also at home. In a moment of desperation, the mother persuaded her two children to drink the poison with her. However, the 4-year-old refused, so the mother fatally stabbed her on the spot.

The mother and her 6-year-old child suffered seizures after drinking the poison. The incident was immediately discovered by local residents who rushed the victims to the hospital for emergency treatment.

Mr. Hien added that the case is currently under investigation by the police, and the authorities do not yet have detailed information.

All we know is that the 4-year-old child has died, and the mother and her older child were transferred to Hanoi for emergency treatment after the incident.
