Hoang Mai can reach the top in IT application

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to actively apply IT to improve the management and operation of state agencies to serve people and businesses more effectively, towards an electronic town, Hoang Mai town is implementing the project in this field into life.

Leaders of Hoang Mai Town inspected the effectiveness of IT use at the Town People's Committee office.

Hoang Mai currently has a rate of civil servants equipped with computers to work at town agencies and 10 wards and communes reaching 91%; the rate of computers connected to the Internet is 92%; most agencies, units and communes and wards have connected to the Internet via transmission lines, FTTx, ADSL...

The Town People's Committee has directed the implementation of training and put the electronic office software Eoffice into use at the town government agencies to reduce paperwork and shorten work processing time, which has initially brought about effectiveness.

Hoang Mai strives to be at the top of the province in applying and developing IT in performing public duties by 2020; providing basic online public services at level 4, meeting actual needs, serving people and businesses anytime, anywhere, based on many different means.

Hoang Mai town also clearly identified a number of tasks and solutions to focus on implementing such as: strengthening the application and development of information technology to serve people and businesses; developing and perfecting telecommunications infrastructure and information systems; at the same time, strengthening propaganda and dissemination to raise awareness of the application and development of information technology for cadres, party members and people; solutions on human resource training, at the same time mobilizing and concentrating investment capital for the application and development of information technology and communications with many solutions expected to be proposed.
