Facebook boss earns 4 million USD per day
With an estimated fortune of $51.8 billion, Mark Zuckerberg is currently one of the 10 richest people on the planet and also the person who earns the most money in the world every day.
Specifically, if you take Zuckerberg's current total assets and divide them by his age, the Facebook boss earns an average of $4.4 million per day, according to CNBC. Mark Zuckerberg just turned 32 on May 14.
This figure is much higher than anyone on Forbes’ billionaire list, including Bill Gates – the richest person in the world for the past 3 years. According to CNBC’s calculation, Bill Gates, 60, earns only 3.5 million USD a day. Or Jeff Bezos, 52, the third richest person in the world, only pockets 3.3 million USD a day.
And these are also the only 3 people who can earn an average of over 3 million USD in a day.

Other famous billionaires like Sergey Brin (42 years old), Larry Page (43 years old) of Google, Amancio Ortega (80 years old) of fashion company Zara, and even Warren Buffett (85 years old) do not earn 2.5 million USD per day.
Clearly, Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook have had a very successful year. Currently, Facebook has surpassed all the famous social networks such as LinkedIn or Twitter, both in stock price and market share. Specifically, Facebook's stock price has increased 53% in the past year.
In December 2015, when the Zuckerberg family welcomed their third child, the Facebook boss decided to invest 99% of the company's shares in human development areas such as health, education, clean energy, connecting people, reducing poverty, fighting for equal rights and sharing knowledge with everyone around the world.
Of course, this doesn’t mean Zuckerberg will give up ownership of Facebook and become penniless. A day before Facebook reported record revenue for the first three months of the year, Zuckerberg announced that he would create a new class of non-voting shares to ensure that he can maintain control of Facebook in the future.
