Facebook boss earns 4 million USD per day

With an estimated fortune of $51.8 billion, Mark Zuckerberg is currently one of the 10 richest people on the planet and also the person who earns the most money in the world every day.

Specifically, if you take Zuckerberg's current total assets and divide them by his age, the Facebook boss earns an average of $4.4 million per day, according to CNBC. Mark Zuckerberg just turned 32 on May 14.

That’s much higher than anyone on Forbes’ billionaires list, including Bill Gates, the world’s richest person for the past three years. According to CNBC’s calculations, Bill Gates, 60, earns just $3.5 million a day. Or Jeff Bezos, 52, the world’s third richest person, only pockets $3.3 million a day.

And these are also the only 3 people who can earn an average of over 3 million USD in a day.

Other famous billionaires like Sergey Brin (42 years old), Larry Page (43 years old) of Google, Amancio Ortega (80 years old) of fashion company Zara, and even Warren Buffett (85 years old) do not earn $2.5 million a day.

Clearly, Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook have had a very successful year. Currently, Facebook has surpassed all the famous social networks such as LinkedIn or Twitter, both in terms of stock price and market share. Specifically, Facebook's stock price has increased by 53% in the past year.
