(Baonghean.vn) - On April 19, in Hanoi, a press conference was held about the Conference to honor ethnic women with good economic performance in the Northwest region, which will be held in Vinh city, Nghe An province in May.

The conference was attended by 192 official delegates (including 32 groups and 160 typical individuals) from 14 provinces in the Northwest region and two neighboring provinces of Ha Tinh and Quang Ninh. The conference is also an opportunity to recognize and praise the efforts to overcome difficulties, the spirit of mutual love and creativity of collectives and individuals of ethnic women in the Northwest region who are exemplary in doing good business; create a forum to exchange experiences, replicate typical examples and advanced models in the fields of production and business, opening up opportunities for ethnic women in the Northwest to connect with businesses and expand the market.

According to the organizers, within the framework of the conference, in addition to the forum "Improving the competitiveness of ethnic women in the Northwestern provinces", there will be a ceremony to report achievements and offer incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh in his homeland. The conference will be broadcast live on Nghe An Radio and Television.
