Previously unreleased White House video shows Obama attending a party before the operation to kill terrorist leader bin Laden took place.

According to CNN, the Obama administration approved the operation to kill Osama bin Laden, the supreme leader of al-Qaeda and mastermind of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, on April 29, 2011, the day before a White House Correspondents' Association dinner.

At the party, President Obama cracked jokes during his speech, and didn't reveal even the slightest detail about the operation to eliminate the terrorist leader. He also mocked billionaire Donald Trump, who questioned whether Obama was born in the US and therefore unqualified to be president.

Bin Laden was killed in the early hours of May 2nd, Pakistani time, following a raid by Navy SEALs on his hideout in Abbottabad. Immediately after the successful operation, the White House planned to release the information to the public and the world.

The President and his advisors gathered before going on camera. The staff arranging the filming were given very little prior notice. After his speech, Obama congratulated his advisors. Many Americans gathered, cheering and celebrating the victory.
