With only two mechanics, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chinh created the first armored vehicle model in Vietnam.
About 2 years ago, in a foreign program introducing a type of armored vehicle for combat, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Chinh (owner of a mechanical facility) who used to be a soldier, researched and started making the first armored vehicle of Vietnam. |
In September 2015, Mr. Chinh began making the car, much to the surprise of his family and relatives. To have a spacious place to create this military equipment, Mr. Chinh went to Son Tay town to build a mechanical workshop of nearly 300 square meters. |
With his passion and experience, by September 2015, the "made in Vietnam" armored vehicle had traveled nearly 30km. |
The vehicle was designed for combat with large machine guns mounted on top. |
Because it is only a prototype, the machine system is designed to be quite small and light. |
Control system of armored vehicle model. |
Inside, the vehicle can carry about 10 to 12 people and is designed with loopholes for direct combat when encountering an ambush. |
Each side of the car body has 4 loopholes. |
In addition, the two sides of the vehicle are also designed with a bullet-starting system to limit the destructive force of even large-caliber bullets. |
The tire system is designed to operate independently, so if one wheel fails, the vehicle can still move normally. |
It is known that after completion, the car will weigh 13 tons, be 6.8 m long, 3.0 m wide and 2.6 m high. The car can run on a 45-degree slope, raise and lower the chassis from 0.3 m to 1.2 m and overcome obstacles 1.5 m high, while a normal car can raise and lower the chassis 20 cm, overcome obstacles 0.8 m. |
