Nghe An Border Guard troops launch campaign to clean up the sea.

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of June 19th, in Nghi Thuy ward, Cua Lo town, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province organized a launching ceremony and mobilization campaign in response to the "Clean the Sea" campaign.

The ceremony was attended by representatives, officers, and soldiers of the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command, Cua Lo town, and a large number of local people.

Provincial border guards and residents of Cua Lo town participated in cleaning up the beach.

Over the years, officers and soldiers of the Border Guard of Nghe An province and youth union members in coastal communes and wards have carried out many practical activities to protect the marine environment and maintain a green, clean, and beautiful landscape in the area. However, due to production, business, and service activities, as well as the behaviors and customs of some people, the marine environment in some localities is being seriously polluted.

At the ceremony, the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command launched a campaign calling on officers and soldiers of the provincial border guard units and local youth union members to actively participate in the "Clean the Sea" campaign through practical actions.

The "Clean Up the Sea" campaign will be carried out regularly and continuously by officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard.

A large number of people in Cua Lo town responded and participated in cleaning up the marine environment of their hometown.

Many young children were also enthusiastic about participating in the campaign.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, 200 officers and soldiers of the provincial border guard force, along with a large number of people from Cua Lo town, organized the collection of waste and cleaning up the beaches.

The "Clean the Sea" campaign will be regularly carried out by officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard, with the aim of protecting and improving the marine environment, serving the socio-economic development of Nghe An province.

Giving gifts to disadvantaged fishing families.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Border Guard Command, in coordination with Vingroup, presented 30 "For the Ships Going to Sea" gift packages to 30 fishing households and 150 gift packages to disadvantaged fishing households. Each gift package was worth 500,000 VND.
