Nghe An Border Guards launched a campaign to clean the sea
(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of June 19, in Nghi Thuy ward, Cua Lo town, the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province held a launching ceremony and responded to the campaign "Let's clean the sea".
Attending the ceremony were representatives of leaders, officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Command of Nghe An province, Cua Lo town and many local people.

In recent years, officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard and youth union members of coastal communes and wards in Nghe An have carried out many practical activities to protect the marine environment and maintain a green, clean and beautiful landscape in the area. However, due to production, business and service activities as well as the behaviors and habits in the daily life of a part of the population, the marine environment in some localities is being seriously polluted.
At the ceremony, the Nghe An Provincial Border Guard Command called on officers and soldiers of provincial border guard units and local youth union members to actively participate in the campaign "Let's clean the sea" with practical actions.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, 200 officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard joined a large number of people in Cua Lo town to collect garbage and clean up the beaches.
The campaign "Let's clean the sea" will be carried out regularly by officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard, with the desire to protect and improve the marine environment, serving well the socio-economic development task of Nghe An.

At the launching ceremony, the Provincial Border Guard cooperated with Vingroup to present 30 gifts “For the ships going out to sea” to 30 fishing households, and 150 gifts to fishing households in difficulty. Each gift is worth 500,000 VND.
