Ms. Nha estimated that the total cost wouldn't exceed two million VND.

Ms. Nha also bought some swimming floats so the children could play comfortably.

The most difficult part of building the pond is drilling holes in the bamboo poles to assemble them into a frame. After that, the workers just need to spread the tarp and tie it to the frame.

To date, the pool, which was built three weeks ago, is still in good condition. Ms. Nha's child swims in it with friends every day. The pool has an area of ​​25 square meters (3.6 x 7 meters) with a water depth of less than 1 meter, making it very safe for children.

Ms. Nha was very happy that her child loved the special gift from her mother. She also hoped that families in the countryside with ample space could create similar play areas for their children.
