Seized 800 violent children's toys

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 25, 2016, the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Team of Vinh City Police seized a large number of violent children's toys.

While patrolling to ensure market safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2016, the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Team of Vinh City Police inspected a warehouse in Vinh Tan Ward owned by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu (born in 1975, residing in Hong Son Ward).

Number of violent toys seized by police.

Through inspection, the authorities discovered that in Mr. Tu's warehouse there were 6 carton boxes containing nearly 800 knives, usually violent children's toys.

At the police station, Mr. Tu confessed that he bought these violent toys from the markets in the northern provinces to Vinh to sell to children during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Currently, the City Police have drawn up a record to confiscate all of the above-mentioned violent toys for handling according to the provisions of law.
