Authorities seized 800 violent children's toys.

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 25, 2016, the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Team of Vinh City Police seized a large quantity of violent children's toys.

During a patrol to ensure market safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2016, the Environmental Crime Prevention Police Team of Vinh City Police conducted an inspection of a warehouse in Vinh Tan ward owned by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tu (born in 1975, residing in Hong Son ward).

The police seized a number of violent toys.

Upon inspection, authorities discovered six cardboard boxes containing nearly 800 knives and spears, which are violent toys for children, in Mr. Tú's warehouse.

At the police station, Mr. Tú confessed that he had bought these violent toys from markets in the northern provinces and brought them to Vinh to sell to children during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The city police have now confiscated all of the aforementioned violent toys and will process them according to the law.
