Mr. Thein Than called the verdict "unfair" and said that reporter Nay Myo Lin did not intentionally injure the police officer while trying to support a fellow countryman.
The incident occurred in March 2015 when Nay Myo Lin was covering a protest. A police officer pulled a protester off a motorbike and reporter Nay Myo Lin tried to help the protester, leading to a scuffle with the police./.
