The Dien Yen clean water plant was completed with investment capital from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The Dien Chau town water plant has now been upgraded to increase its capacity to 2,000 m3/day, promptly meeting the clean water needs of the town's residents and surrounding areas. In addition, a pipeline system has been developed to the Thap-Hong-Ky Industrial Cluster, serving the production and business activities of enterprises there.

Dien Thai Commune Water Treatment Plant - Dien Chau

Through state investment, non-governmental organizations, and leveraging local resources, the communes of Dien Thai, Dien Dong, Dien Nguyen, Dien Yen, and Dien Binh have completed the investment and put into operation clean water plants. Currently, two communes (Dien Thap and Dien Quang) are constructing plants, and two communes (Dien Hong and Dien Minh) are preparing to invest in construction.

In the coming period, Dien Chau will focus on attracting investment to build water treatment plants with appropriate capacity to meet the needs of production, business, and daily life for the people, ensuring that by 2020, 85-90% of rural households will have access to hygienic water according to the standards of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; and 80% of the urban population will have access to clean water.
