Revoked 4 journalist cards working at Infonet and Dan Tri electronic newspapers

On the afternoon of September 6, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao said that the Ministry of Information and Communications has just issued two decisions to revoke four press cards of four journalists working at Infonet Electronic Newspaper and Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper.

Decisions No. 1551/QD-BTTTT and 1552/QD-BTTTT were both signed by Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao on September 6.

According to the decision, the Ministry of Information and Communications decided to revoke the press card number DT00323, valid for 2016-2020, of Mr. Luong Tan Huong, issued by Infonet Electronic Newspaper, because Mr. Luong Tan Huong was disciplined with a warning.

Along with that, the Ministry also revoked the press card for the period of 2016-2020 issued at Dan Tri Electronic Newspaper of Mr. Pham Phuc Hung (ID number DT00005) because he was disciplined by being dismissed from the position of Editorial Secretary General to Deputy Editorial Secretary General; of Mr. Le Trinh Truong (ID number DT00041) because he was disciplined by warning and salary reduction; of Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung (ID number DT00078) because he was disciplined by warning.

The decisions also clearly state that Infonet and Dan Tri e-newspapers are responsible for revoking the press cards of the above-mentioned people and submitting them to the Press Department, Ministry of Information and Communications before September 15./.
