Four press cards of journalists working at Infonet and Dan Tri online newspapers have been revoked.

On the afternoon of September 6th, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Hoang Vinh Bao announced that the Ministry of Information and Communications had issued two decisions revoking the press cards of four journalists working at Infonet and Dan Tri online newspapers.

Both Decisions No. 1551/QD-BTTTT and 1552/QD-BTTTT were signed by Deputy Minister Hoang Vinh Bao on September 6th.

According to the decision, the Ministry of Information and Communications has decided to revoke journalist's card number DT00323, valid from 2016-2020, issued to Mr. Luong Tan Huong at Infonet online newspaper, because Mr. Luong Tan Huong has been disciplined with a warning.

In addition, the Ministry also revoked the press cards valid from 2016-2020 issued by Dan Tri Online Newspaper to Mr. Pham Phuc Hung (ID number DT00005) for being disciplined and demoted from Editor-in-Chief to Deputy Editor-in-Chief; to Mr. Le Trinh Truong (ID number DT00041) for being disciplined with a warning and salary reduction; and to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung (ID number DT00078) for being disciplined with a warning.

The decisions also state that Infonet and Dan Tri online newspapers are responsible for revoking the press cards of the individuals named above and submitting them to the Press Department, Ministry of Information and Communications before September 15th.
