Authorities seized a passenger bus carrying 4,000 poultry of unknown origin.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 28th, while patrolling in Dien Hong commune (Dien Chau district), a task force from the PC 64 Police Department of Nghe An province inspected and discovered a passenger bus with license plate 37B - 00964, owned by Mr. Hoang Dinh Hoan (residing in Do Luong district), carrying 50 cardboard boxes containing 4,000 one-day-old poultry (geese, ducks, chickens).

The poultry of unknown origin was seized by the authorities.

Upon inspection, the driver was unable to present documents proving the origin of the goods and declared that the vehicle was being transported on behalf of a customer from Phu Xuyen (Hanoi) for consumption in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

The task force drew up a report, confiscated the poultry, and handed them over to the Dien Chau Veterinary Station for handling according to regulations.
