Vietnam beach tourism is the cheapest in the world

The Dutch travel site Travelbird recently conducted a survey of costs at 250 beaches in 66 countries around the world. The results showed that Vietnam's beaches topped the list of the cheapest costs, based on the cost of food, drinks, sunscreen, etc.

Cua Dai Beach, Hoi An has the cheapest cost in the world.

The top 4 beaches are all in Vietnam, including Cua Dai Beach, Hoi An, Ho Coc Beach, Vung Tau, Nha Trang Beach and Bai Dai Phu Quoc.

Cua Dai Beach impressed Travelbird with its incredibly low cost. Specifically, visitors only have to spend an average of 13.54 USD for a vacation here. This includes a box of sunscreen for 2.01 USD, a bottle of mineral water for 5 cents, beer for 2.09 USD, ice cream for 90 cents and a lunch with a drink for 8.04 USD.

Ho Coc Beach is also very cheap with a cost of around 14 USD. Bai Dai Beach is the most expensive at only 15 USD. The list of 6 remaining beaches in the top 10 cheapest beaches in the world all belong to India.

Travelbird also published a list of the most expensive beaches in the world. Accordingly, La Plage de Maui, Tahiti, France leads the list with an average cost of 54 USD. In second place is Mareto Plage Publique, Moorea, also in France, with a cost of 53 USD.
