Model Harnaam Kaur feels more attractive and feminine when she grows a scruffy beard.

Kaur, from the town of Slogh, Berkshire, England, suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome and had tried everything to get rid of the unruly hair on her chest, arms, and face.

This unusual appearance made herShe was bullied and ridiculed both at school and on the streets for years. She even received death threats from strangers online.

The 24-year-old girlShe finally decided to grow a beard when she became a follower of Sikhism, a religion that forbids beard trimming, and has just set a Guinness World Record as the youngest woman to grow a beard longer than 15 cm.

In March, Kaur also became the first female model to walk the runway with a beard at London Fashion Week.

Kaur considers this honor "very small" and hopes it will help her convey the message that how women look is up to them.

"I would never go back and shave because that's how God made me and I'm happy with it," she said. "I feel more feminine, more attractive, and I think that's how I look. I've learned to love myself for who I am, and now nothing can shake me."
