Model sets world record for youngest bearded woman

Kaur, from Slogh, Berkshire, UK, suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome and has tried everything to remove the stubble and hair growing on her chest, arms and face.

This unusual appearance makes herShe was bullied and ridiculed at school and on the streets for years. She even received death threats from strangers online.

24 years old girlfinally decided to grow a beard when she became a Sikh, a religion that forbids trimming beards, and just set a Guinness World Record as the youngest woman to grow a beard with a beard longer than 15 cm.

In March, Kaur also became the first female model to show with a beard at London Fashion Week.

Kaur said the honour was "very humbling" and hoped it would help her convey the message that how women look is up to them.

"I would never go back and shave because that's the way God made me and I'm happy with it," she said. "I feel more feminine, sexier and I think I look that way. I've learned to love myself for who I am, nothing can shake me now."
